Ruh Sağlığı ile Yaşam Doyumu Arasındaki İlişkide Psikolojik Sağlamlığın Aracı Rolü
Abstract
Mental health is defined as a whole in balance with oneself and other people, that the individual positive and negative emotions are together. Mental health has a direct relationship with psychological resilience which is the ability to recovery after negative events, and life satisfaction which expresses the individual satisfaction of life. In order to maintain a mental health state of well-being, it is important to determine the relationship between mental health, life satisfaction and psychological resilience. Therefore in this thesis study, the relationship between depression, anxiety and stress, which are the most common mental health disorders in the general population, and life satisfaction and psychological resilience were examined. In line with the main aim of the study, it was to test the mediating role of psychological resilience in the effect of mental health and life satisfaction in adults. To this aim, data were collected from a total of 312 participants aged 18-65. Demographic Information Form, DASS-21, Life Satisfaction Scale and CD-RISC were used as data collection tools. In analysis of the data, Pearson analysis was used to examine the relationship between dependent and independent variables, and the PATH analysis mediation model was used to question the mediation model. As a result of the analysis, it was found that there is a negative and significant relationship between depression, anxiety and stress, and both psychological resilience and life satisfaction. Moreover, the mediating effect of psychological resilience in the relationship between depression, anxiety and stress and life satisfaction was observed only in depression and life satisfaction.
