Tekrarlı Flört Şiddetine Maruz Kalmış Bireylerin Duygusal Manipülasyon Mağduru Olmasında Bağlanma Stillerinin Etkisi
Abstract
In this study, the mediating role of repeated dating violence in the relationship between attachment styles and emotional manipulation victimization was examined. Within the scope of the study, 286 individuals who were exposed to dating violence at least twice were included in the study. Demographic Information Form, Attitude Towards Dating Violence Scales, Romantic Relationship Rating Scale Revised Form and Three dimensional Attachment Styles Scale were used as data collection methods. Pearson Correlation Analysis and Multiple Linear Regression Analysis were used to analyze the data. According to the results of the analysis, the mediating role of repeated dating violence in the relationship between attachment styles and emotional manipulation victimization was found to be insignificant. While the relationship between secure attachment and emotional manipulation victimization was insignificant, avoidant and anxious attachment had a significant effect on emotional manipulation. While there was a negative and insignificant relationship between secure attachment and repeated dating violence, it was found that anxious and avoidant attachment had a significant positive relationship with repeated dating violence. There was no significant relationship between repeated dating violence and emotional manipulation victimization.
