Kadınlarda Ev İçi Yakın Partner Şiddeti Deneyimi İle Travmatik Stres Belirtileri İlişkisinde Duygu Düzenleme Becerilerinde Güçlüğün ve Baş Etme Yöntemlerinin Aracı Rolü
Abstract
Bu çalışmada evli, dul, boşanmış, ayrılmış, partneriyle birlikte yaşayan kadınlarda ev içi partner şiddeti deneyimi ile travmatik stres belirtileri ilişkisinde duygu düzenleme becerilerinde güçlüğün ve baş etme yöntemleri kullanımının aracı rolü araştırılmıştır. Türkiye'deki 18 yaş üzeri ve psikolojik, fiziksel, ekonomik, cinsel ev içi yakın partner şiddeti deneyimlemiş 284 kadın online olarak çalışmaya katılım sağlamıştır. Katılımcıların 82'si majör depresyon, anksiyete, sınırda travma sonrası stres bozukluğu vb. psikolojik sorunlara sahip olduğunu belirttiği için, 22 katılımcı 6 Şubat depremini yaşadığını bildirdiği için çalışmaya dahil edilmemiştir. Katılımcıların 183'ü içleme ve dışlama kriterlerine uygun bulunmuştur. Katılımcılar Şiddet Mağduru Kadınlar için Yarı-Yapılandırılmış Görüşme Formu, Başa Çıkma Stratejileri Kısa Formu, Travmatik Stres Belirti Ölçeği, Duygu Düzenleme Güçlüğü Ölçeği- Kısa Form kullanılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Duygu düzenleme güçlüğünün, duygu odaklı baş etmenin ve işlevsiz baş etmenin ev içi yakın partner şiddeti ile travmatik stres belirtileri arasındaki ilişkide aracı rolünü test etmek için Process Macro V4.2 üzerinden aracılık analizi uygulanmıştır. Analiz sonucunda duygu düzenleme güçlüğünün kısmi aracılık etkisi olduğu görülmüştür. Duygu odaklı baş etmenin anlamlı bir aracı rolü olmadığı bulunmamıştır. İşlevsiz baş etmenin kısmi aracı rolü bulunmuştur.
In this study, the mediating role of difficulty in emotion regulation skills and the use of coping methods in the relationship between the experience of domestic partner violence and traumatic stress symptoms in married, widowed, divorced, separated, and cohabiting women was investigated. In Turkey 284 of women over the age of 18 who had experienced psychological, physical, economic and sexual domestic intimate partner violence participated in the study online. When viewed, 82 of the participants had major depression, anxiety, borderline, post-traumatic stress disorder, etc. and 22 participants were not included in the study because they reported having psychological problems and reported experiencing the February 6 earthquake. For all that, 183 of the participants were found to meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Participants were evaluated using the Semi-Structured Interview Form for Women Victims of Violence, Coping Strategies Short Form, Traumatic Stress Symptom Scale, Emotion Regulation Difficulty Scale-Short Form. Mediation analysis was applied through Process Macro V4.2 to test the mediating role of emotion regulation dysregulation, emotion-focused coping, dysfunctional coping in the relationship between domestic intimate partner violence and traumatic stress symptoms. As a result of the analysis, it was seen that difficulty in emotion regulation had a partial mediating effect. Emotion-focused coping was not found to have a significant mediating role. A partial mediating role of dysfunctional coping was found.
