Abstract

This chapter examines and evaluates the complex interaction between visionary leadership and innovative human resources management (HRM) practices. Through a comprehensive review of the literature, analysis of key visionary leadership characteristics, and a focused-empirical study, the chapter reveals how visionary leaders' risk-taking and communication styles contribute to the development and deployment of innovative HRM practices within organizations.
