Bu tez, Breton'un ve sürrealist manifestonun kuralları ve kalıpları yok sayarak ortaya çıkardıkları sınırsız özgürlüğü şiir alanında uygulamalarını ortaya koymaktadır. Cemal Süreya'nın imgesel ve özgür bakış açısının ''Üvercinka'' şiiri üzerindeki yansımasına göstergebilimin yöntemleriyle incelemek esas amacı ortaya koymaktadır. Bu tezde sürrealizmin kurallarının çoğunu şiirlerine uyarlayan Cemal Süreya'nın ''Üvercinka'' şiiri göstergebilimin yöntemleriyle, Roland Barthes'ın görüşleri esas alınarak incelenecektir.The purpose of this thesis is to explain the history, characteristics and phases of the surrealism movement, which aims to achieve the final achievement of creative and free thought, and to examine the 'Üvercinka' poem of Cemal Süreya, who wrote influential poems in the axis of surrealism, in terms of semiotics. This thesis reveals the unlimited freedom that Breton and the surrealist manifesto created by ignoring the rules and patterns, in the field of poetry. Examining the reflection of Cemal Süreya's imaginary and free point of view on his poem 'Üvercinka' reveals the main purpose.
